Hola a Todos!!!
Just wanted to update you on what’s going on with our women’s ministry. We have FINALLY completed our weekly study in the amazing little book of Philippians. The time invested in this book has been super enjoyable and we have all grown so much through the many life-applicable lessons found in this book. We have been encouraged, exhorted and challenged in many ways. Please pray that we are faithful to put into practice all that has been planted in our hearts.
It’s a little bittersweet having to say “goodbye” to Philippians, but we are looking forward to begin a new study. For the next few months, we will be spending time studying the lives of different women in the Bible. There is much to gain from the lives of women such as: Sara, Miriam, Mary & Martha.
As far as our monthly women’s fellowship—we continue to study the book of Esther. Up until now, we have covered the first four chapters, and will continue to work our way through the book for the next few months.
It is such a blessing to see some of these young believers grow in the Lord. They hunger for Jesus—desiring to know Him and serve Him wholeheartedly. I ask that you please pray for them. That nothing would move them or stump them in their walk with the Lord. Also, please pray for those who are struggling; that they would draw near to Jesus and find their sufficiency in Him alone.
Some additional things to keep in prayer:
-For a women’s retreat in the future
-For open doors of ministry in the public schools
-For the short-term teams that will be coming during the summer months
-A personal prayer request: my grandma Anita’s health; she’s 83 years old and is struggling with cancer that is advancing rapidly
Thank you so much! I am so grateful for the prayer support I have in you.
With Love,
Rocio :)
“Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He satisfies the longing soul,
and fills the hungry soul with His goodness.”
Psalm 107:8, 9
