The Calling

It is with great excitement and joy that I share what God has been doing in my life over the last year and a half. As many of you know, last year, the Lord began to re-awaken the passion and desire to serve Him in the mission field. After praying and seeking His direction, the Lord confirmed this call upon my life and I began to take the necessary steps to follow through. In June of 2009, I began full time ministry at Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs as a mission’s intern. My time at CCSFS has flown by very quickly. I am grateful for all the preparation, learning and growth that have come about as a result of my time here. Now, the time has come to go. At the end of August, I will be going down with our missions team to Panamá. The team will return after ten days of ministry but I will stay to make Panamá my home. I have been privileged to go on 3 short missions trips to the beautiful country of Panamá. It is through these trips that the Lord opened the doors of ministry there and gave me a desire to serve Him in that country. I do not know how long God will have me there, but I am willing to be there until He tells me otherwise.
I ask that you please keep me and Calvary Chapel Panamá in your prayers. Here are some specific prayer requests:

-Adjusting to life in a different country

-Strength and comfort for my family & loved ones as we are apart

-Ministry areas that I will be involved in

-Wisdom, fullness of the Holy Spirit & obedience to His leading

-That the people of Panamá would grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ

-For Pastor Bertin and Vero

-Colossians 1:9-14
